Summary

A Hawai`i Island Ceeds of Peace participant is very involved in Hilo Rotary and helps organize their annual RYLA Camp, the “Rotary Youth Leadership Awards high school leadership development program”. High school students on Hawai`i Island from 11 different schools are chosen to attend RYLA as an award for their past and present leadership activities. The 2015 camp used Ceeds of Peace tools and activities, including: Rotating Facilitators, Collaborative Leadership, Socratic Seminar, 6 Thinking Hats, Active/Double Listening, Future Visioning, Engaging Nature, Huaka’i.
