Summary
Participants will devise a set of rules that will be posted in a public place to remind all to follow them.
Instructional Strategies
1. Gather participants and discuss what everyone wants to see in their community, classroom or home?
2. Collaboratively, participants will identify shared rules and decide what these rules could be called. Some might call them "peace actions"; participants may have other good ideas.
3. Have participants each select no more than 5 rules to review every day.
4. Instruct them to post these rules "peace actions" in a prominent place and refer to them when issues come up.
5. Discuss how individuals can share accountability for these expectations.
