Dr. Patricia Espiritu Halagao- Curriculum Studies, UH, describes the Teaching Tolerance curriculum in this 2 minute video. Hawaii was part of a pilot study to develop this curriculum. Halagao speaks about idenitity and does an activity that puts a spotlight on how the different values that makes up ones identity effects everyone differently. This reveals how each person is unique. Teachers can successfully bring this into the classroom.
