Summary

ÒI am currently creating a utopian photographic space for young Chinese students, including myself, who initially came here for education in the States. Corresponding to current uncertain times including the COVID-19 pandemic and Black Lives Matter movement, my offering focuses on desire, immigration, Chinese students, and the New York Times within this community. My photo-based work will help them to realize and employ their rights of freedom and democracy and relieve their complicated feelings regarding China. In conclusion, my peace offering will bring Chinese students their connections and feeling of security in the U.S. and promote them to find self-identities.Ó
