ÒWe wear masks to protect ourselves, and yet there is no mask to protect us against diseases that we canÕt see tangibly but that affect people all around the worldÉ Supremacy, racism, greed, war, xenophobia are all diseases that we should work to eradicate from our communities. I decided to do a salt portrait of a childÕs face Ð a child that represents human kindÕs vulnerability. I then draw the world map on his face, symbolizing the fact that this child represents all of us.
