Summary
Participants learn to network map to assess the larger system within which a conflict or an issue resides.
Instructional Strategies
1. Facilitate group creation of a map the larger system within which a conflict or an issue resides.
2. Discuss how the system might be reinforcing the conflict or issue.
3. Encourage the group to identify breaks in the system, rules and regulations reinforcing the conflict.
4. As a group, map solutions for shifting the system. Network mapping (analysis of how a network is connected) is a powerful tool in this activity.
