Summary
Participants get outside and feel peace and learn about the practical steps of civic engagement through projects in environmental stewardship, the water cycle, disaster response and resilience, climate monitoring.
Instructional Strategies
1. Get people outside.
2. Help youth engage with nature
3. Encourage youth to earn to listen carefully, to become more respectful and more careful about their own actions
4. Encourage participants to take leadership positions to protect nature.
5. Support youth to participate in civic engagement through projects in environmental stewardship, the water cycle, disaster response and resilience, climate monitoring and more.
