"WITS for Families"
Program
Summary
Talking about WITS at home teaches children to apply WITS strategies (walk away, ignore, talk it out, seek help) beyond the school walls. WITS Parent Toolkit provides parents with resources and activities to do with their children to guide and help them respond effectively to reports of peer conflict and victimization. The resouces explain how to reinforce the WITS message at home, how to initiate discussions with children about conflict and victimization, how to detect and deal with problems and where to find support.
