Ceeds of Peace held its first-ever virtual benefit event, titled Pau Hana For Peace. This virtual event invited talented local musicians like Makana, Tim Rose, Mika Kane, Shane Tsukayama, Aaron Domingo, and The BusBoys to share musical performances of songs that represent peace to them.
We also showcased a series of speakers from our community — educators, student changemakers, and non-profit professionals — who shared their peacebuilding initiatives across the islands.
Over sixty community members viewed our event, and we were able to raise over a thousand dollars to sustain our ongoing peacebuilding programs.
