Community Workshops
The 3-Part Peacebuilding Workshop Series is our flagship program, training over 70 adults per year in peacebuilding practices and facilitating the action planning process with each of them. Our current cohort serves 39 Department of Education teachers & counselors, representing 26 different schools. Other community members include small business owners, non-profit professionals, service providers, artists, college students, and police officers.
Over the past several years running the 3-Part Peacebuilding Workshop Series, our participants have launched hundreds of action plans in our community, including:
- Social-emotional learning curricula in their schools
- Engaging community in peace walks, rallies, murals, and gardens
- Restorative justice campaigns
- LGBTQ+ clubs
- Family conflict resolution plans
- Peer mediation programs
We aim to wrap our youth in peacebuilding practices so we can tackle conflicts and challenges in our community while raising the next generation of peacebuilding leaders.
This year’s workshop series, generously supported by The Clarence T.C. Ching Foundation, is currently running and we are closed for registration. We will be opening registration for our next workshop series next summer via this website.
